Car ran for a while but kept wanting to stall. eventually cruise control light came on. still ran for about 20miles until cut off completley while driving. replaced the ignition coil but it refused to start. The crank sensor is in the top of bell housing of the transmission towards the back of the engine compartment. The cam sensor is built into the distributor.

We just bought a 2006 R/T Hemi V-8 Magnum. The cruise does not work. It worked the other day, but thats it. How can we fix this? I need cruise control!

Its possible that you have a faulty crank shaft position sensor. Mine went out in my 05 RT and the car stalled frequently at stoplights and the cruise control would not work. It could be something else but after replacing my crank sensor I haven't had an issue.

Diagnostic codes for 1994 Chrysler Concorde

What you are reading is a 1-2 (12) and a 5-5 (55). The 5-5 is always at the end of the code string. The 1-2 (12) indicates that the battery was disconnected and the ECU (computer) has been reset.
