Probably need a new pump since it powers the steering and the hydroboost assist for the brakes

I'd say you broke a serpintine belt if you lost them both at the same time. Check your belts and see if you're missing one... You should have breaks and steering, just manual... hard to steer and brake...

Battery light turned on. Lost power steering and AC.

You broke your serpatine belt. Needs replacing. It's a $50ish part and easy to do if you have a diagram under the hood of how the belt fits. But if it was "rattling" for a couple of weeks take it in for crying out loud. Let the mechanic look it over to make sure your lack of vechile care didn't destroy anything under the hood.....

What liquids go in each resevoir?

Coolant in 50% concentration goes into the coolant overflow bottle. Windshield wiper fluid into the wiper fluid bottle. Power steering fluid into the power steering fluid bottle.
You do not need to add any other fluids to these. Do not add water to the washer fluid bottle for example, if you drive in a climate that would allow it to freeze.

Something major happened either a blown engine or something major electric. The reason you heard a pop in speakers is because they picked up the problem. Does anything work electric? My guess is something inside engine broke and jammed up engine.

any good repair shop can fix your problem, you may have mounting bolts that sheared off, or worst case, you may have a broken frame rail, I doubt the frame is cracked or broken. The cost of this repair will depend upon what all is damaged, if it is just he bolts, they are cheap, if the gearbox itself is damaged it costs about 150 dollars, then you will have shop time (labor) which i have no idea what shop time is in your area, but it will be "x" dollars per hour, and I would say at least 3 hours to repair. I hope this is helpful to you.

Where is the fill/dipstick for power steering fluid in a 85 bmw

if I remember correctly it is located under the hood on the drivers side near the firewall. the resevoir is metal. The top to the resevoir may be secured with a nut. remove the nut and the cap. you might see a screen if it is still there. before adding fluid, step on the brake pedal about 10 times with the engine not running. then you can add fluid. your car should use ATF for the p/s fluid.

Sounds like you found the leak already, add a little more fluid & have someone hit the brakes while sitting to confirm. That line will need to be replaced, and system will need to be bled.
