After getting water in the transmission while off roading the vehicle drove home fine, then the next day it would not shift from 2-3 then the following day it would not shift out of first. it is strong in first, strong in reverse. I changed the fluid and the filter, still didn't work, then I dropped the pan again, cleaned the solenoids, and tested them, they seemed to work fine when voltage was applied, I then changed the fluid and flushed the system, still nothing. Now I just took down the manifold or whatever the thing is with all the maze like grooves in it are and wondering what to clean or replace before putting it back together.

a transmission that has wear tends to leak and a fluid change may not help instead make matters worst and the loud sound is bad news yes the transmission build pressure and blew it it's not common to blow fusses that unless is the fuse for the transmission or they disturbed any wire harness.
