99 mazda 626 v6 transmission dipstick housing has what seems to be a vacuum hose nipple towards the top with nothing attatched

Ive been trying to tune up and get my 99 mazda 626 lx v6 in the best condition. there seems to be a vacuum hose nipple on the side of my transmission dipstick housing with nothing atatched. I found it while changing my fuel filter. I need a vacuum diagram thats more specific and clearer than iv found i.e. pvc to intake man.& the vac line that goes to the sensor on the side of my air filter housing, EXTRA CREDIT to any professional suggestions on common performance/efficiency issues and solutions i can be aware of. Thank You

SOURCE: oil in air filter

the part that connects to the top of the oil housing i believe would be the pvc valve... take it off and shake it... does it rattle ... if not replace it.

there maybe a sticker in the engine compartment that shows the vacume line routing or you can go to a dealer and they can print one for you.

Where can i find the Transmission fluid dipstick on a 1994 Mazda 626

If your 626 does not have the dipstick you have to take out the speedometer cable and you can check it right there...The cable has hash marks on it at the end.....Also Mazda had Transmission problems on this year model......

Good luck to you

Where is the thermostat located in a 93 mazda 626 with a v6 engine?

Follow your top radiator hose to where it connects to the engine block. The hose will be attached to a housing held down by 2 or 3 bolts. Disconnect the hose, remove the bolts and housing.

The thermostat will be sitting below the housing. It will look like this...

I have a mazda 626 and this morning the alarm came

Pull the fuse out. If its an aftermarket alarm system it may have been plugged direct without a fuse so a total disconnection is needed at that power source

Where is the thermostat located in 1999 Mazda 626? (I see both hoses not sure if its bottom or top hose?)

Near the top hose. You have to remove some type of housing to get to the thermostat.

Transmission dipstick

is it manual?if so there is no dipstick.there is a fill and check plug on the housing.put the car on a lift.let it run to running temp and unscrew the plug. if it slightly begins to leak out then your level is fine and if there is nothing you must add.

I cannot find themostat on 1994 mazda 626 2.5liter v6 engine

The thermostat is located on the front left of the motor facing the radiator(Almost directly below the radiator cap). The lower radiator hose is attached to the thermostat housing.
