2000 grand cherokee drivers front and passenger rear door does work with the switch

It has power to the the locks from the master switch but wont unlock them and if you hit the lock button it will lock them but wont unlock them and you cant even unlock them manually unless you hit the unlock button and then you can only unlock them by hand or the key in the case of the drivers door.

Take some lube spray and spray the entire lock assemblies. You may need to take the door panels off to do a good job. With the panels off you can watch and see what is happening.

SOURCE: 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee HatchBack Lock Repair

Sorry to say I haven't had a chance to tackle the problem yet and no one has given me any suggestions. I recently did a repair to the driver side door for the power window and it was a huge pain as it was difficult to remove the entire mechanism and there were several rivets which needed to be drilled out and replaced. Hopefully I will not have this problem with the rear hatch.

Sounds familiar - I pulled the rubber boot back and found the black wire was broken. I stripped the wires and put on a couple bullet connectors (terminators) and all is good. Just wish I would have seen this post before I took the door panel off... Oh well...

Sounds like the actuator went out. There normally run 40-60 for the part and does not take long to replace normally 30 minutes.

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo TSI, Passenger side windows do not work from master switch on drivers door. Both driver side windows work from master switch on drivers side. Passenger side windows do work...

It has to be the switch or the wiring, right? So pull out the switch and probe the back with a volt meter to see if power is coming out of the switch. If yes, trace the wires to the doors.

No power to the rear driver side door the window nor the lock work. No power to the other doors but the lock switch on passenger side. I have tried a new master switch it didn't help and my Owner's Manuel...

Its usually a bad ground or i have found corroded wires under the floor molding on the driverside just behind front seat there should be a splice , thats where my brothers was on his 04 ram. i think the windows was a yellow wire

Rear side windows

This may be just a case of inadvertently hitting the window lock out n th driver door window switch by mistake. Check that first. Here's some background on window operation

Principles of Operation
The driver power window regulator motor is controlled directly by the master window/door lock/unlock switch (and its integrated "auto down" module). Power is supplied to the power window relay and the master window/door lock/unlock switch, and the passenger power window switch when the SEC/timer module grounds the coil side of the power window relay. The SEC/timer module will ground this relay when the ignition is in the ON position and will remain energized for approximately 15 minutes or until the driver or passenger door is opened.
The driver power window regulator motor is a reversible motor that is operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to lower the window, and then reversing polarity on those leads to raise the window.
The passenger power window regulator motor is controlled directly by the passenger power window switch and can also be controlled by the master window/door lock/unlock switch.
The passenger power window regulator motor is a reversible motor, which is operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to lower the window, and then reversing polarity on those leads to raise the window.
The power rear quarter glass is also directly controlled by the master window/door lock/unlock switch. The power rear quarter glass power latches also utilize reversible motors. The power rear quarter glass power latches are operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to open the window, and then reversing polarity on those same leads to close the window.
