My right turn signal isn't working correctly. When I'm driving down the road my dashboard indicator for my right turn signal will turn solid green but wont flash, But when i turn my headlights on it will stay solid green even if i have my left indicator on and flashing when turning left or changing lanes, but neither of the two lights that are meant for the right turn signal wont even turn on if the headlights are on. But they will work for hazard signals but if the headlights are on they will flash in an odd pattern. Any help will be appreciated.

I had the same problem on a 92 & 95 Dakota years ago, replaced the turn signal switch in the column & found a loose ground wire in the harness back by the tail lights. Never had a problem again. If you're gonna try to replace the switch you will need tamper proof torques bits just FYI. Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

SOURCE: 1997 dodge avenger turn signal probs and location

replace the turn signal switch it self, mine did the same thing with the left turn signal, put in fuse and it will continue to flash... went to junk yard pulled one out of a 97 avenger just like mine, swapped them out and now it works fine. looked to be like some corrosion... to repace: 3 screws under columb, 2 screws on side of signal switch (black plastic side). unplug and replace

SOURCE: ok,i have a 2002 dodge ram 1500.my left turn

the most common problem is that you have a bad ground to the turn signal socket, the ground aitches to the inner fender, also there is a light module inside the left kick panel we have seen this get a bad connection on the plug in we can usually clean the contacts and cure the problem, a quick test for the ground circuit is to jump a ground wire from the negative battery post to the back of the ground wire plug on the turn signal bulb if the problem goes away then repair the ground circuit....GOOD LUCK

let me know if there is any thing else i can do for you.

How do i fix my problem, left indicator starts flashing when turn engine on but stalk will not stop left side or start the right side yet hazards work fine

One of the most important safety systems in the car is the Turn signal system. It can help prevent accidents by signalling to other drivers on the road when you need to change course and which way you'll be turning. It is also required by law to have a car dashboard turn signal indicator that works properly. You will need to wire the indicator in your dashboard to the proper lights and locations in the car. For a standard turn signal indicator in which the turn signal lights are the brake lights, please check this link on how you can do this:

Left turn indicator intermittent how to fix?

The turn signal indicator switch could be corroding (getting rusted on the inside). You could take it out & break the corrosion/rust & lubricate it with wd40 & put it back in..hopefully it solves the issue. If not, then you might need to get another indicator switch. You start off by taking off the steering wheel neck panels

My dashboard light isn't working but my turn signal light, emergency break light and all other warning lights work, just not the backlight so I can see the speed i am travelling in the dark.

Did you try turning the wheel/knob next to the head light switch? It's the dimmer for your interior lights. Sometimes that happens and some ppl don't know about it. Not sure how familiar you are with it so thought I'd throw that out there.

If the lights do work sometimes, then it's probably the turn signal switch/lever itself.

2008 Chevy Cobalt front right turn signal is not working. Back right signal blinks fast. Left signals work just fine. I tried replacing the bulb and it did not work. Do I need to replace the...

No - headlight ok.
The reason that the Right turn signal blinks fast is that there is half the normal load (resistance)
on the right side, since the Right front turn signal isn't working.
Since you replaced the Right front turn signal bulb, your problem lies in the bulb socket or
the wiring to the socket.
(1) try cleaning out the socket - there's probably a contact problem in the socket. You
may need to squeeze the contacts together to provide good contact to the socket contact.
(2) if contacts inside the socket are ok, try back-probing the socket - to make sure that the
socket is getting 12V DC to light the bulb. Replacing a bulb socket is easy, and commonly done.
Any auto parts dtore should be able to sell you a new socket - its just a matter of cutting out the
old one, and then splicing in the new one. Most shops will use small wire nuts, buried under several
wraps of E-tape (electrical tape).
(3) if bulb AND socket ok, you have the worst problem known to man - a wiring fault. In this case,
you'll want to run a new wire from the flasher module (under the dashboard) to the turn signal.
