You will need to go to the dealers parts dept and have them look up what is needed to fix this, more than likely the whole assembly will need to be replaced, about $300.00

No heat but a/c ok

Either your heater blend door is stuck or the vacuum line to the blend door has fallen off.
Was your heater working before? It is possible that the heater core was bypassed due to a leak (not uncommon in Ford products).

My heater wont work in my truck it will blow air but it wont warm up. whats wrong or how do i fix it?

If your engine temperature gauge reads normal, then the heater control (temperature setting) is probably at fault. If the temp gauge remains on COLD, then the thermostat is probably stuck open and needs to be replaced. If the temp is normal do the following:
With the truck running (outside, of course), go to the passenger side of the truck and remove the panel that is just under the glove box. Inside that area is the heater core and the controls to operate the hot/cold vents. With a flashlight in hand look in that area as someone moves the temp lever or control from hot to cold. You should see movement of the cable to the heater core. If nothing is noted, check for loose wires, disconnected cable and any vacuum leaks. You may have to replace the heater control unit. On a vehicle of this age, your best bet would be a salvage yard or EBAY...
Good Luck and I hope this helps...

Cold air only from heater

first check temp gauge on dash is it normal if so termostat is fine than check the heater hoses going inside from engine compartment if they are hot rule out control valve if it in the engine compartment sit in the vehicle and listen for any noise when you move heater temp switch from cold to hot if you hear clicking noises and no change it may be blend door accutator with moves when you slide or turn heat control nob the heater may have to be removed on some models eexpensive repair may be needed

The heater in the car is putting out cold air instead of hot when the motor is at temp. I turn the temp nob to cold then back to hot and it works for a bit then does it all over again. what should I be...

Look for a sticking heater control head. There is a cable that runs from the lever you are moving to a valve that controls the coolant flow into the heater core. Take it to you local Honda dealer for repair.

The heater in our car is not blowing hot air. It

Check the heater hoses under the hood first to see if they are hot. if they are, there is a temperature control actuator on the top of the heater box. the motors go bad, and the temp door does not move. The motor is hard to get to but if you open the glove box it is to the left, almost behind the radio.

Air conditioner intermittently (sp?) blows hot air when I am driving. Not consistant with acceleration or turns and just had the freon drained and recharged.

Had the same problem and brought it in and they said it was a problem with the heater control. They said I can replace the hvac control assembly and to get one from a salvage yard. They also said just twist the temp control nob back and forth a couple times till the ac works until i get it
