My saab is running but poorly and the engine light is on so is the tcs ctrl light I don't know what that is also how do you turn up the idol on a my 93 saab turbo 9000 cse thanks
Tcs is traction control system, take it to the dealer and get it fixed, how much is your life worth? My tried turning off the tcs on his '04 Mazda RX8 and it spun out on him in the rain. He survived, RX8 did not.

if there is a fault in any of the systems abs tcs or engine management the lights light up get it plugged it to a diagnostic tester and it will tell u the problem
Traction control is on all the time, as soon as you start the car. If you push the button, you are turning it off. In other words, when the light is on , the tcs is off.
Maybe the speed sensor beside the front passenger (right) wheel is dirty or is "out of service"... If this is the problem, the "cruise control" should fail too ; try it on the road...
Hope it will help you, even if my english isn't terrible...
Most likely the TCS module mounted on the abs unit used costs around 500.00 im pretty sure
Elite foreign auto parts has it they carry only saab parts.. tested and used,
You can fix this yourself, in a couple of hours with basic hand tools. You will need a rebuilt ABS module. Try this link for an under $500 repair. The dealer will want $2800, + labor.
to begin i dont know what it means to say expensive or not how ever, all the lights at the same time could only mean one thing the problem could be in one of the diodes in your alternator is bad thus turning on all the lights on the dash board,
now regarding your brakes especially on saab;s shake or vibration is caused by uneven surface on the brake rotors (usualy the front) my suggestion is to replace the front rotors and the brake pads at the same time.
does it light up like a christmas tree? I had a simliar problem last year on my 2000 9.5 aero. I beleive it was the tcs on, tcs off, emergency light, and 2 others, i forget now. After paying the saab dealer $800 to try and diagnose it, finally they came up with a faulty abs switch. Cost to replace was over 3k. I took it to my other mechanic and he found one in a junk yard for half the price. I had it replaced over a year now and it works fine.
Have them check out the ABS switch. I later found simliar info on the web of other saab dealers
