2002 cadillac escalade ext misfire, shifting problems,

Truck shifts rough, engine will not tach over 2700 rpm's, only trouble code is a multiple misfire, this is our family car we really need it to run, please help?

i guess you mean p0930 obdii code... that is gear shift lock selenoid circuit problem....when press on brake does gear shifter move freely.. anyway reset and see if returns... if problem with gear shift try replacing selenoid

Engine light came on then security light also
Recommend to have codes pulled via scan tool. Lights can come on for many different things. Possible bad ignition switch assembly can cause both check engine light and security light to come on.
