Are you looking for the flasher relay? It will be situated under the dashboard. Try operating the flashers, or hazard warning lights and listen for the clicking sound. The sound will lead you to the relay.

Electronic flasher

The flasher will be under the drivers side of the dash. You will need to remove the trim pannel from under the dash. The flasher will be above and to the passenger side of the brake switch.

Where is the electronic flasher located ?

  • Kneel down under the steering wheel .
  • Look up and to the right of the steering wheel at the edge of the vinyl molding for the dash ,you would see a screw holding it. But in reality, the screw is through a metal plate that slides over the top of the flasher unit. And the screw does not actually screw through the unit.
  • Remove the metal plate and you can see electronic flasher unit.
  • You can replace your old flasher with new flasher you have bought! and before you replace it,sandpaper the terminal ends. It would provide good connection if there is some problem with the connection.
Cheers!!!

I think the electronic flasher needs replaced but

Im assuming that you are talking about the FLASHERS for turning and hazard lights, the Flasher is located front seating area, driver side, under dash, above kick panel, mounted in bottom of convenience panel.

I suggtes check the Service Manual ZJ-Secc-8W-Wiring-Diagrams (page 8). Also, you have a nice SUV, me too have an 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2L MFI 8cyl.

Hope help with this (remember rated this).

How do i put my eectronic flsher in my car

I would suggest that the flasher is either in the fuse box, or in the electronic distribition box (black box near the front driver's side) in the engine compartment under the hood. Unplug old one and install new one with comparable replacement.

Turn signals stop working

Replace the flasher unit with an electronic version.
The electronic flashers keep the flashing cycle constant no matter what the load is on it.
Your standard flasher sounds like it is failing.

How do I get a flasher relay to operate with LED lights

flasher relay is not a relay, it was a bimetal strip that heats on current flow, bends, breaks the circuit, cools straightens.
For LED lamps that do not draw enbough current to heat a bimetal, replace the old flasher can with an electronic flasher circuit,
