My Honda Accord has a horrible miss under moderate acceleration, say around 3000 RPMs or so. Problem just started a few days ago. Someone suggested replacing the fuel filter and have the catalytic converter checked. Any ideas?

You need to discharge the AC system and remove the evaporator to replace the
expansion valve. No two way about it.
No need to remove the dash

Check for a vacuum leak somewhere. When you have pressure by going faster it will not be a problem but if slow it will cause a problem. TLT

turns over is a small part
1. does the vehicle have spark at the spark plugs - if no then need to find out why -- if yes chk fuel
2. is there fuel at the chk valve if no why -- plugged filter - blown fuse , bad pump , broken wire , etc....
there are alot of factors

1: Change your fuel filters and bleed the air out of it.
2: Check all rubber hoses for loose hose clamps and
cracks or leaks.
Almost certainly in one or both of the two points above.
