Hearing that the windows work the problem don't sound electrical. The next step would be to remove the door panels and inspect the window regulator. Even though motors might appear to be fine the operating strength of the motor maybe deteriorated. Another thing to check for is cable damage on the window reg. also make sure your window channels are cleaned and re-lubed.(Silicone spray will do the trick). If nothing changes replace the window regs. They can always be returned if problem stays the same.

I Have A 1995 Subaru Legacy And The Driver Side Window Will Not Go Down, I Have Taken The Panel Off, But I Cannot Seem To Get The Window To Go Down Still, What Do I Do?

If this is a power window, you would have to disconnect the motor to be able to move the window glass.
If you have disconnected the motor and the window glass will not move, look for something stuck in the regulator or the tracks.

Power windows on passenger side of 1997 Toyota 4 runner will not work. Front one is down and back one is up. We removed the switch from each of them and tested them on the Drivers side rear door and they...

the one in the rear that is up could just be stuck since we tend to only use the front.....i have seen the ones in the rear to get stuck in the rubber window runs all of the time on cars and trucks.....try and take a plastic trim tool and run it around the window and see if it is stuck and you can also get someone to slam the door a couple of times while you are holding the switch down on the drivers door and see if it will start working and also make sure the window lock is not on......if this doesnt work the best thing to do is to take the door panel off to make sure it is getting power to it and if so it will need new motors......i hope that this will help.......

Driver side power window ,sometime it works ,sometime it doesn t

Though the window switch is a possibility, more often then not, the window motor itself is starting to go bad. Intermittent loss of function is the most common initial sign. I recommend leaving the window up until the have the motor replaced. Otherwise you are risking having it stuck in the down position and never being able to get it back up without replacement. These things seem to happen at the worst time, like when its about to rain.

Drivers side power window dosen't work,is all the way down and won't come back up

BTW, the window seems to only get stuck down if it is taken all the way down - I've never gotten it stuck partway down. So in the summertime I try to remember not to take the driver's side window down completely, just keep it an inch or so up.
