my 97 is the on with the 1 less sensor not the 95

  • Anonymous Oct 26, 2012

the 95 ****** has just above the neutral saftey has sensor and directly to the rear of it another one same sensor then just below it is the circle plug sensor, now on my 97 the rear sensor above the circle one it was plugged (Removable) so I changed that and eleminated the sensor and put the plug.

Had a transmission line leak, fixed it with j.b.weld, now the stick shows over full but when i put it into gear, i have to rev it upto get it going.

sounds like the fluid is too hot still, if the fluid is too hot, it looses some of its viscosity making it not work as well try draining it and using new fluid, or if it goes to a transmission cooler (usually located near the cars radiator) then check or upgrade the transmission intercooler.

Does a 1995 gmc jimmy 4x4 have a vacuum line that runs to the transmission?

If your transmission is automatic, it probably has a vacuum controlled modulator located on the passenger side near the front of the transmission. It is a round component witha vacuum nipple on it's end and connects to a manifold vacuum source.

Orifice tube location on a 1995 gmc jimmy

it is located in the high pressure AC line at the AC evaporator core inlet. The high pressure line is the smaller of the two AC lines that come from the AC compressor on the engine..

Will a 1994 chevy 4l80e 4wd swap into a 1995 GMC

Yes they will swap out nicely, the years where they made the change is in 1997 and the only difference is the transmission end housing has a different bolt pattern but has the same internal parts. You may also want to swap out the servo's with a corvette servo. The cost is around $45.00 and can be done without dropping the transmission pan, this will make your transmission shift firmer and will have less clutch slip[ between gear shifts. Good luck and hope this information helps.

1995 gmc truck shift problems

It sounds like the power supply is dead for the transmission. Check the transmission fuse for power.
