When my Honda warms up, the temperature gauge will go up and I'll have warm (but not warm enough) air blowing for a while. The the temp. gauge will drop all the way down and no warm air blowing. We just replaced the thermostat and it still isn't working right.

yes, replacing the thermostat is definately the first thing i would do

yes that means the thermostat is stuck open or you are low on coolant, check level first.

Know problem to check out.
-Check your coolant level, low coolant can cause that.
-A bad thermostat could cause that
-Bad headgasket could cause that too, but you have to use a headgasket test kit.
it hard to say what it is without doing any test on it.
