Thermostat location on 2010 Nissan cube 1.8 liter

in almost all vehicles i know of.. it is in the lower radiator hose where it connects to the engine block. in my nissan pickup the two hoses where they attached to the engine block were one over the other. so it was easier to get to the lower hose by first taking off the top hose. take ur time and dont like most jobs dont rush. and please remeber to put coolant back into the radiator before you start the car. auto zone is very cool about about showing u where to look if u want a second opinion.

2006 pathfinder heater goes from hot to cold the coolant is not low !

This issue may be due to a restricted radiator. The engine heats up but can not flow through the radiator fast enough and pushes the coolant into the overflow until it runs over. Then the engine draws coolant back in showing a low condition.

My suggestion is to check the radiator with an electronic tool for checking temperature. If the temperature is 180 - 200 on the upper hose and 75 - 95 on the lower hose then the radiator needs to be replaced.

A faulty thermostat (stuck open) would not heat up.

A faulty thermostat (stuck closed) would not cool down, but would push coolant out of the overflow tank.

If the vehicle has white smoke (actually steam) coming from the tail pipe, then you most likely have a blown head gasket.

Heater air Flow is cold

The thermostat is located on the top hose coming off the radiator. It's a 2-3 inch diameter hose, there should be two coming off the engine block into the radiator. If you look, it's almost always the top hose. You can see two or three bolts and a clamp around the hose going into the top of the thermostat. A new thermostat is around $30 - $60 depending on the car. You will need two quarts of antifreeze and I also suggest getting 'indian head' gaset sealer, put this only on the engine block side of the thermostat. Let me know how it works out and if you need more help.

Seized thermostat

Not always. If you have a KA24E (2.4L 4 cyl) engine, the thermostat is located where the lower hose connects to the engine. I have had to change mine. It's easiest to get to if you remove the power steering pump and set it to the side. The thermostat housing is directly below where the PS pump mounts.
