Yet another Ford Focus Key Fob problem...

sure it came with 2 keys ,lost the spark
is the iMMO ICON light angry/ unhappy? as the users guide tells?
head lights bright,key off and on?
read the user guide first
the check all fuses
and last scan the PCM for DTC errors. I bet there are.

I think you need to reprogram fob again.

Here are a few things to try and get your Ford Key Fob working again:

1) Change the battery
Batteries don't last forever, you'll be surprised how often it's just a dead battery! Click here for a video on how to open a GM key fob, or search our YouTube channel on how to change a battery for your specific year, make, and model!

2) Wipe the board
The board inside your remote can get a lot more filthy than you think! When the board is dirty it can prohibit the contact to the circuit board when you push down on the button. Simply wiping the circuit board off can make your key fob like new again!

3) Get it checked
Go to your local hardware store like AutoZone or Oreilly's. They usually have a RF frequency tester. This little gadget will let you know if your key fob is sending a signal. If it is, you may need to reprogram your key fob to your vehicle

4) The old car battery reset trick
I know this sounds absurd, but it works sometimes and is worth trying. If you exhausted all of the options above, disconnect both terminals on your car battery for 10 minutes. Then reconnect them and try your key fob. This has worked for many people and I have no idea why. If you do, please comment below to explain.

5) New fob!

first do you have the master red fob,?? you will need it to reprogram your other fobs,try this with the red fob attach to key, turn ign on and off 10 times do not start vechile,with in 20 seconds try the black fob, do the same thing, now try to start with blk fob,,

there is a battery in the back, if it just stopped working, try replacing the battery,

Geta battery ASAP for your fob and call your dealer

Try reprogramming it.

1. Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN 4 times within 6 seconds.
2. Turn the ignition OFF. The system will chime to confirm programming mode.
3. Within 20 seconds, press any button on first keyless remote.
The system will chime once to confirm programming.
4. Within 20 seconds, press any button on second keyless remote.
System will chime once to confirm programming.
5. Turn ignition to RUN to exit programming mode.

Take the key ring off and gently take a slim coin(a dime works) and put it between the two things that the key ring went through and Gently twist, that worked for me.

get in your car close door hit the unlock button then put key in the ignition cycle the key from off to on (STOP BEFORE START POSITION) cycle key off to on 7 times after the 7th trime the doors should lock the unlock automatically that means u are in trainning mode hit the unlock button on key fob. the key fob should now work if it doesn't then try changing batt

u can get another key made at ur local store it will unlock the car but it will not crank it
