Headrests of a pontiac transporter 1996

There is a button location underneath the headrest. Lift headrest as high as possible, feel for the button, press and continue to lift up.

Below the oval plastic cover, push down the fabric and cushion, you should find a circlip/exterior cotter pin that will slide to the driver/passenger side. You need to remove this from both posts and headrest will slide up and out of seat. Be patient, they can be hard to see and or remove. A flat screwdriver or needle nose pliers may be useful. At the top of the seat where the headrest posts go into the seat, there may be buttons that you have to press to release the headrest. On some models, it'll require you to insert a paperclip into a hole on the plastic to release the headrest.

Lift the headrest to the full upright position, and you will notice on the plastic piece where the headrest rod goes into, there should be a small hole in the plastic piece, insert a small tool or paperclip, and then pull the headrest off

I recommend you get a autorepair manual for for vehicle from your local auto parts store either a chiltons or Haynes . it it will tell you all about your cars electrical fuses.

Your transport has a 6 cylinder engine ( the only one available tor that year), so u need 6 spark plugs. They should come w/ the gap set, but u should check them to make sure they're gapped properly, at .060 for your van.
