Use ATF Plus (Type 7176) for your particular transmission, NOT Dexron, Mercon, or generic automatic transmission fluid, Chrysler transmissions do not like any other kind and tend to fail quite quickly with the wrong fluid).

You should add it to the power steering pump reservoir, which if you have the 3800 series II its behind the engine on the passenger side.

Can i put dot 4 fluid into the power steering in a grand voyager ?

NO! Dot 4 is brake fluid. using this in anything but the brake system is catastrophic. Use only ATF+4 transmission fluid in the power steering system as directed by chrysler.

Is it true that the auto transmission fluid for chrysler grand voyagercan only be a particular type? Likewise for brake fluid and power sterling fluid??

The Filter inside the trans will only fit similar units

If your adding an external filter on return line then
a trans & power steering filter is the same inside

5/16" for trans -- usually
3/8" for P/S

Get the Filtran Filter with the magnet & only
use on trans or P/S return lines & change every

1997 Chrysler Grand Voyager. Transmission and power steering problem. Jumping when accelarating, and not picking up but high revving noise. Limped it halfway home then had it recovered. Last night...

For the steering problem first at all check it the fluid level.
For the Transmission, if you recently replaced the fluid this MUST BE a ATF+3. Never use others like Dexron or Mercon. So, first, let me know what kind of fluid you put on in.

No power steering on my chrysler voyager

is this the 3.3 liter or the 3.8?

I know that there is 1 serpentine belt that runs all (incl. the PS pump) on the 3.8 liter. So if that belt
was missing, you would also be over heating, have no alternator charging, no ac (if equipped) as well as have no PS. If you see any belt at all (on the passenger side), then you are ok. The PS fluid resevoir is near the top and easily found. It has writing on the cap which also has a built in dipstick. Check the fluid level in the resevoir and fill it if nec. Are you hearing noises from the PS system with the fluids full? If so, you might need a new pump. Check for leaks too if the fluid was low, you might have a leaking hose or PS rack (hope not on the rack though $$)
