Snapper Pro S200XT Z-turn. When mowing, the mower will die when using PTO (blades).

It sounds like you have covered most of the possible issues with the electrical system. A ground issue could be a possibility, but there are other potential causes as well. Here are a few more things to check:

1. Check the wiring, connections, and terminals for the PTO. Verify that there are no loose or corroded connections and no damaged wiring.

2. Inspect the PTO clutch for wear, damage, or signs of shorting. A failing clutch can cause an increased electrical load, which can drain the battery and cause the engine to stall.

3. Check the belt tension and condition for the mower deck. A loose or worn belt can cause excessive load on the PTO and engine, leading to stalling.

What is the lever between the gear shift levers for? John Deere 2030

I don't know but I would guess it could be for a differential lock or to engage the PTO (power take-off).

Key start will not engage starter? Oil light on and warning sound? Is there a low oil pressure cut out?

A low oil pressure cut out would not prevent cranking. It kills a running engine by disabling spark.

The Walkers require safety states - 1)PTO off and 2)speed control in park/neutral position.

Typical faults that prevent cranking.

1. Operator error... PTO not fully disengaged, transaxle not in neutral.

2. Failed safety switches PTO or neutral.

3. Fuse

4. Loose wire/wire harness.

5. Failed starter switch.

6. Battery

7. Starter/solenoid.

I have a 5900 ford tractor,it is hard to put it in gear( grinds). What needs to be done so that you can change gears without it grinding?

Usually it means you need a little more clutch adjustment and/or a lower engine rpm. Your synchronizers could be bad. The fluid level can be low, but overfilling on some series will flood the rear brakes with lube.

On some models the pto must slow down or stop spinning if an implement has momentum and you need to shift. There are free wheeling pto adapters which allow the pto to operate at a different rpm than the implement.

The high rpm on an automatic trans can result in shifting problems when changing gears.

How do gears to drive pto go in the manual transmission

If your transmission is PTO ready, there will be a plate on the side of the tans where the PTO bolts to it. The PTO will have a gear that goes into the transmission that is driven off of a gear on the input shaft. You will be able to engage and disengage the PTO by a slip gear in the PTO itself.

We had several, identical gearbox failures on several Merceds Benz 1823 trucks. Each time the PTO pump was ripped off and the bell housing destroyed whilst the vehicle was driven on a straight road. We...

There is a gear that is in constant mesh in the PTO with a gear in the cluster shaft of the gear box. Fitting a PTO is a critical operation as there are shims between the PTO flange and the gear box housing to ensure correct teeth clearance . IF this clearance is not enough then the gears bottom out and jam prevention proper lubrication and rotation. Also it is vital that the teeth pitch of the PTO gear matches the pitch of the gear box gear as this will cause the PTO to be pushed of the side of the box.
