I bought my kid a 1994 Escourt LX and he did something so now the 100 AMP fuse under the hood keeps poping, what is this fuse hooked into that would cause it to pop each time I hook the battery cables back up to it?
I just had that problem and I was hooking up my neg/pos cables backwards... haha it was really confusing because they aren't clearly marked. That's definetely an easy fix!
You probably have your battery in backwards. The NEG side of the battery is closest to the steering wheel.
We had an alternator go bad and changed the battery too. Since battery is a top mount and POS/NEG cables are not clearly marked, we kept blowing the 100 amp fuse. We put the battery in backwards.

Hey I can help you with a schematic if you think it will help you!
Any idea what he was working on, or at least what he was trying to do, in what area?
