the car has many sensors, one of them is sending an error signal and the computer is letting you know that. no one on this end can gaze into a crystal ball and divine which sensor and what message is being sent. it is to alert you that attention is needed. someone has to put their eyes, hands, and an analyzer on the interface and at least find out what sensor and what message is being sent. or you can wait until you are driving and hear a loud bang just before you get run over by the truck behind you. you last thought would be "if only i had known there was something wrong with the car". there is a clue in the owner's manual too, when you see this take it in for service.

that means a mechanic needs to check your vehicle. the computer has detected something wrong and has sent out a code. a mechanic will read that code and determine what is wrong with your vehicle. if you have an Autozone near by, they will read that code for free and tell you what is wrong.

If they hooked the battery up backwards, they fried a whole lot more than the fuse box. Probably a couple of fusible links, coulda taken out the computer and a ton of other parts, depending on how fast the fuses blew. Fuses are designed to stop a current SURGE from damaging anything, but NOT current going the wrong way. While they will still blow, the damage may have already been done. 6v53 is right. Make Sears pay!!!
