Stability track lights on dash say to service stability track and that engine is losing power. Engine light is on as well as traction control. Engine did lose power. Oil pressure and temp were fine.

That's normal operation for automatic traction control.

as to the traction/stability trac check hub and abs sensors [wires and connection ] these systems are not tied into the cam sensor but ---look for wire chaffing in the harness by the cam sensor the harness may have the wiring from both systems in harness

Actually you may be losing slight power, but just can't tell. Try going to Autozone and having a FREE diagnostic done.

The stability system is software programmed into the ABS - antilock brake control module also the PCM - engine computer . service engine light DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop or the dealer . You don't have the diagnostic equipment or knowledge to tackle this type of problem .

I would probably go ahead and have the computers scanned for trouble codes. You might find a code that would point you in the right direction to troubleshoot the problem.
It could be a low fuel pressure issue that won't set a code.
The traction control warning light can come on if the engine is having problems, as well as the braking system.

what kind of light,check engine, abs,traction control? usually if the check engine light or service engine soon light comes on under heavy acceleration it leads to a bad O2 sensor. check the ECM for history codes.

Your check engine light is on because the computer detected a problem with the car. Take it to Autozone and they will scan for the problem.They do this for free. First, the abs/traction control light is usually attributed to the abs module not receiving a speed signal from one or more wheels.

Second, if you lose less than one quart per 1000 mi. traveled, I read that this is normal. But yours is not normal. Top off the oil with the recommended viscosity.

An ABS sensor DOES affect the traction control system. Traction control uses these sensors to determine if a wheel is losing traction. A bad sensor will cause both the ABS and TRACTION lights to come on.
The CHECK ENGINE light however is going to be a seperate problem.
