Trying to do the same on my 01. ready to change the bulb but can't find it anywhere.
anyhow, here's how you do it:

remove the dash by taking out 2 screws behind the ashtray and 2 above the instrument cluster
begin prying off the dash from the ashtray up, when you reach the heater vents stop. next take a flat head screwdriver and pry off the dash from the left side with the door open. work left to right till you reach the heater vents and it'll come right off. you don't necessarily have to unplug any of the electric connectors if you don't want to, but you;ll have to reach around the dash while working. all you need to do now is remove the heater control unit via the 4 screws around it, then unplug the electric harnesses from the back of it. make sure you remember which goes where. the bulbs are the 3 white (or is it 2 white and 1 grey) circles on the back of the control unit. just turn them with a flathead screwdriver and turn it over and give it a little bump to get 'em to fall out (or grab 'em with a needle nose pliers if necessary). anyhow, that's how it's done, question is, where do ya find the bulbs?

The dash lights in my 2000 intrigue are very dim, and the fuse is still good. Do i need to change the dash bulbs?

Now in the dashboard is usually LED backlight, better brand panel to LED power supply from time to tome special points electric circuit, and not directly from the Vcc points down.
Directly from Vcc partial pressure of the backlight dimming, will directly affect the panel data output, if eliminate this phenomenon, the estimate is the first kind of circumstance using special power supply circuit.
DIY, you can check, whether the decoupling of the electrolytic capacitor failure?
maybe this web can help you http://www.hobd2.com

My odometer light wasn't working for 1 year and today it came on untill shut my truck off and it didn't come on again??? do i change the bulb? if so do i have to tear the dash apart

There is a LCD backlight bulb for the odometer, these are 1/4 turn bulb holders mounted from the back of the cluster.

You will need to remove the cluster to get to them.
F150online has a how to thread on Dashboard removal for the overlay change, which is quite detailed on topic of how to get the dash apart to gain access to the cluster.
Would put it all in here, but there is quite a bit of detail, and I don't want to skip a step.

Dashboard lights burned

You can not. The unit is a solid state, with a circuit board on the back. non repairable bulbs.
You should take to dealer , there is an open recall on the dash assemlby. Chevrolet will replace the unit with there exchange program.

Light behind "Fan Speed" Dial burnt out?

It can be replaced with just bulbs. They are a pain in the **** to get ordered correctly but the are serviceable. Also, you can change the shifter light bulbs as well, just turn the bulb 30 degrees or so and pull out gently.

How do i replace the head light from a hyundai elantra 2004

Directly behind the bulb on the back of the headlamp assembly is a ring that you twist to lock and unlock the bulb. Twist the ring and it will slide back away from the headlamp assembly and you will be able to pull the bulb straight back and out. There is a little wire retainer that needs to be moved out of the way to facilitate disconnecting the headlamp from the connector/plug.

Do the reverse to replace the new bulb but be careful that you DO NOT touch the glass portion of the bulb or the oils from your fingers will overheat the bulb and cause early bulb failure.

When you slide the new bulb in, there is a little tab that helps you align the bulb properly so it will slide into the hold all the way. The retainer ring will not lock into place if the bulb is not sitting on the tab properly.

Just pay close attention to how the bulb comes out as you are removing it.
