Where is oil filter located on a 2002 ford transit diesel manual engine

If you find your oil filter, you fill find the oil cooler. It is the little box that the oil filter screws into. You will see two coolant hoses going to it as well.

Ask your motor factor (parts shop) to show you computer diagram on their system when you buy the new one. (will be like the new one so shouldn't be too difficult to locate.)

Hi, You need to connect a hand priming pump between the fuel supply pipe & the fuel filter keep squeezing the pump until it becomes firm. continue squeezing the priming bulb durin engine cranking.

The oil filter for the diesel Rexton is behind the engine block on the passengers side. If you remove the plastic engine cover and stand next to the passengers mirror, you will see the casing next to the firewall.

what is Y or 52 or whatever ----please state year ,anyway use the cheapest oil you can buy from supermarket for a diesel/petrol synthetic or natural ,viscosity ¿¿ well 20/50 10/40 is plenty good enough and change the oil every 6000miles and the oil filter every third oil change and this little kent engined ford which is unchanged since the ford anglia 1962 first used this engine and it will run forever ,and yes you can mix the oil if your just topping up.I remember working in the factory 40 yrs ago building these engines at 3 engines a minute on the assembly and in them days we used shell rotella oil and it went in every type of engine from the dorset diesel (D series) to the transit V engine and the york 2.4 diesel to the zodiac V6 3 litre ,now their was a nice car if you can one .

On 4 cylinder engines: The oil pressure sending unit is located in the rear of the block near the oil filter housing
On 6 cylinder engines: Sending unit is located near the oil filter housing behind the air conditioning compressor, on the front side of the block

of it has a 6.0L engine it is on top of the engine righ where a carburator supposs to go, this is for a ford f350 diesel

on the petrol engine it is directly below the alternator
