I Have 1993 Chevy 4x4 Z71 and 2nd gear is gone.

as long as the gear ratio matches up and the mounts measure identical..if the gears are different it wont work when 4 whell power is needed..there is normally a tag on the punkin cover that has numbers on it like 3.83 or such if these numbers are the same it should fit..even tho its 5 years difference..

Those solenoids are inside the transmission case.

no they will hook up different more electronic wires on 2002 than on the ninety three

sorry sounds like internal tranny problem

the throw out bearing is bad ,so change bearing and clutch

you have a stuck valve in it. if that dose not work you can put a pint of brake flud in it . i had a 95 ford 150 that i did that too and it for over 5 years .

are you at a dead stop & in N when trying to shift into 4x4
