Dual climate control not working properly

The drivers side climate control is not working properly. It will not adjust when I change it. Sometimes it does blow the correct temperature air, but then it won't shut off, or allow me to change the temp. Any solutions? Thanks.

Mine done similar, blowr vents would come on and off as it chose randomly, it was the
Air Conditioning Power Module
Part No 20956 . located close to firewall on passenger side under glove box asiest way to replace is take glov box out, 6 to8 7 mm socketscrews, bottom panel comes down remove the bulb and temp sensor wire plugs, set out of the way, once you have remove glovebox (pll straight back} and set out of way, now you can ee it in behind another electrical plug, n\but oce you remove the top screw, you will need to turn and pull up, unplug the connections on the power module and out, replace, and plug back up. put top screw back in, and test, once you verify it works complete putting glove box, and screws, the panel and screws(don't forget to plug the light ana temp sens back tighten all bolts. ((seems like tkes long time by instructions, but in reality it only took abt 20 min out and back in running) part cost 159 @ advance, but if you order on line, and use code visa you get 50.00 off, cost me 103 and some change w/free delivery if visa code does'nt work ,use FABU that's for 40 dollars off. now all works well both side dual climate controls, and steering wheel controls too.

SOURCE: driver side blows cold passanger hot

Same problem as mine has. I just found out that it could be the LH Electric actuator, located under the driver side dash, just about straight behind the radio. I got mine in order so i do not knoe if that is the solution yet. just athought for ya.sounds like this should fix it though.

The thermostat adjustment control may need to be replaced. Also check the hose on the back for cracks, clogs, or missing.

SOURCE: Climate control display for Outside temperature

Had the same problem, replaced the ambient air temp sensor in front of the radiator. Cost is like 10-15 bucks. Don't worry if temp doesn't change right away. Took me about 5 miles and then it worked great.

2004 Chevy Tahoe: I changed A/C blend door actuator on passenger side and it's still blowing heat on my driver side?

Does the vehicle have dual zone climate control, where the driver side and passenger side have different control? Sounds like a blend door issue on the driver side. Why did you replace the passenger side, was it blowing hot too when AC was on?

2010 F150 Lariat. Dual climate control works only on passenger side. Rear temperature controls work fine. Driver side or left vents only blow hot air. Regardless if AC is turned on or temperature...

If the driver's blend door actuator has failed completely, or the wiring to it is damaged, you will not hear any clicking. Check for appropriate voltage at the blend door actuator, and determine from there if it's the actuator or the control unit.

Passenger side air is cold coming out of dash but the drivers side air is not cold. I need a solution to the problem?

if this has dual climate controls then the drivers side blend door actuator is not working properly. if it is only single climate control then a low freon level can cause the air on the driver's side to be warmer.

03 IMPALA.It won't switch from defrost to vents or to floor, also where is actuator?

does this vehicle have electronic climate control. if so sometimes the actuators get "stuck" in one position if the settings have not been changed in a while. under the driver's side on the dash toward the center and the passengers towards the center on that side, with dual climate control. sometimes removing the actuators and operating them with them pulled out (if they turn) then replacing will work. hope this helps

2006 Lincoln Navigator. My driver side heated seat is flaking out. I turn it on after starting the vehicle and it comes on for about 20 seconds and then shuts off. If i push the button a second time it...

Electronics involved !
The climate control seat system is able to heat and cool the front seats. Each climate controlled seat is operated by push-buttons on the dual automatic temperature controller (EATC) located on the instrument panel. Each front seat temperature is then monitored and controlled by the dual climate control seat module (dual CCSM) located underneath the passenger front seat cushion.

Both the driver and front passenger climate controlled seats are independently controlled electronically by the dual climate controlled seat module (CCSM) mounted to the bottom of the passenger seat cushion. The climate controlled seat system only operates with the engine running, however, if using a diagnostic tool to command the dual CCSM, diagnostic testing can be carried out with the ignition switch key ON engine OFF (KOEO). The system receives power from central junction box (CJB) fuse 118 (30A) through circuit 1153 (RD/BK) feeding battery voltage into dual CCSM C3265b pins 1 and 24. If power is disconnected from either pin 1 or 24 of dual CCSM C3265b, only 1 seat will be disabled (pin 1 for driver seat, pin 24 for passenger seat), the other will remain operational. Since both climate controlled seats operate independently, if a fault occurs setting a DTC specific to either climate controlled seat, only the affected seat will be disabled by the module and the other will remain operational.

Sorry , but it would be best for you to take it to the dealer or someother qualified repair shop.
