Oil level ok ight staying engine running sluggish and missing power
Hi John, The oil pressure warning light is indicating pressure not level. You say the warning light is on at all times and the engine is losing power? I believe you should have a compression test carried out on the vehicle. It seems highly possible there has been severe damage to the engine. Is the engine emitting any strange sounds? How long has the oil light been on? How often do you service the vehicle by replacing all filters and engine oil? What engine oil do you use? Regards John

if the light came on it could be a fluid level warning. In most models today they don't have a light or gauge for the levels. I would check this first. you mention a hesitation, this could be as simple as changing the fuel filter or a faulty O2 sensor. Best bet is ti have a diagnostic scan done to find out if there is an active code present in your ECM.please rate this.....thanks

Have the sedona scanned at an AutoZone or similar place and ask for code. they will not tell you whats wrong with it but they will give you a code. You can go from there. You can come back and tell us what the code is .

We had o put in two new ignition coils along wit new spark plugs and wires. This solved the problem.

Check our air filter. Nine times out of ten it is something very minor .If you have not changed your air filter in a while, this could cause the loss of power going uphill. On flat ground the vehicle does not have to work as hard as uphill. If your air filter is dirty, this will hamper the carb from breathing properly, thus no power.
