Leonard, interior fuse panel is open drivers door, at the end of dash driver side behind a small interior access panel, under hood fuse/relay center(box) is beside battery on inner fender.

look on the left or right hand side of where the door panel meets the side of the dash, may be a small finge rpull type door, fuses are behind it,, or check under the hood at the relay center box

Latch is broken. Needs replacing.

Try maybe lubricating if u can and maybe use a flathead to pry it off.

The factory U-joints are sealed and you can't grease them.

Thats a whole different ballpark. The center seat consoles do not lock upright at all there is no locking device, you just lift it up and it has a small bump that the lever hops over and this keeps it from falling back down. The only thing I can think of is something could be wedged in the lever or the rotating level itself is broken and holding the seat up. You may be able to see what is holding it if you move the drivers seat as far forward as possible and watch carefully on one side while wiggling the console back and forth and then do the same on the other side. If could be the lever bent and you may be able to bent it back into plce where it should be.

Let me know what you find, in the mean time I will check the Chrysler Star Hotline to see if there was a simular problem.

When I told you to lube it, I was assuming you were talking about the cup holder in the center, lower part of the dash, if I was correct then the proper way to open it if its working properly is the push in on it and then it should come down to expose the cup holders. To close it you lift it and push in on it to lock back in the upright position.

You were speaking of the cup holder correct?

The most likely cause is the lock that holds it in place is sticking, you can try to lube it with a gel lubricant and see if that helps. If this doesn't work unfortunately it will have to be replaced.

In some models the relay is in the power distribution center in the engine compartment, they should be marked, if not your owners manual may have info.
