ECCS stands for Electronic Concentrated Control System, and this is a known issue.

If fuses 'keep blowing', you need to find the reason why power is shorting to earth. In my view, you will need an auto-electrician.

From the op manual and having done it myself......"the fuse block is located under the instrument panel on the driver side of the vehicle."
Fuse # 7 is for the cig lighter and accessory power outlet.

Most likely the lighter is bad

Try looking in the fuse panel for a fuse labeled cig lighter or 12V ACCY. and check to see if it is blown. Could be as simple as a blown fuse.

If you have the owners manual there should be a diagram in there,,also most vehecles have a diagram on the inside cover for the fuse box.

check all of your fuses ,a blown fuse might be the problem, the cigarette lighter usually is on the accessories fuse as is your interior courtesy light the fuse box is probably under the bonnet but there may be one under the dash as well....hope this helps ....cheers

The cigarette lighter fuse is the 3rd fuse from the left on the top row.

If you have a 12v test light you can test each fuse in the fuse box. Connect the test light cable to a good ground. Turn ignition to on/run position and using the test light probe, touch one side of a fuse and then the other side. Test light should light on both sides of the fuse. If it only lights on one side of a fuse then that fuse is blown. It says the amp rating on the fuse. Check all fuses, as there could be more than one fuse blown. Replace fuses with the same rating as the blown fuse. If you don't have a test light, you can get one at any auto parts store or even WalMart has them. Shouldn't be more than 4 or 5 dollars. Fuse #13 is the cigarette lighter 15amp and for the back seat power socket check fuses #27-10amp, both under the dash and #51 15amp under the bonnet.
