Sounds like you have lose wire in the door switch try charging your Battery up again and see what happens when you push the button in the door frame in and let it pop back into position by default a power surge or a short will reset your clock back to start at 12:00 and if its not working correctly or a wire has become dislodged and found earth the lights will remain on until the computer turns it of when the charge is only enough to keep the computer going to unlock an keep memory alive. Replace switch or rectify the problem and let me know how you got on. Goodluck Ron

don't trust the new battrery, have it tested, i went through 4 aftermarket batteries in 6 months, gave up and purchased the factory batt, never had any further issues to this day, Kragen's are the worst.

You should remover the fan blade first the the fan clutch. Both have four bolts attaching to each part

SOURCE: trying to find a diagram to replace headlight
Sorry i donot have diagram for the procedure. But the procedure is given below:
Each of the headlight assemblies are braced through the radiator support with a pair of retainers. The retainers for the right headlight
assembly are in front of the battery. The retainers for the left
assembly are in front of the washer fluid reservoir. Remove the
retainers by pulling up on the retainer. With the retainers removed,
the headlamp assembly falls forward. Reinstall the retainers to the
square tabs on the headlamp assembly and the rivet on the radiator
support
