The first step to solve one "check engine" turn on is scanned the PCM to know excatly what fault code is there. If the autoparts make this work, they muts tell you the this date or code number, with this info we could send other details about what part replace (only if is necessary).
Keep in touch.

Hopefully, it is a mis-timing of the ignition and not an improperly installed timing belt or chain. The latter cold be fatal to the engine. I suspect that was not a cheap replacement so I wouldn't delay having it checked.

sounds like a dead battery to me maybe even a dead cell in it? check that first, get back to us.

This is almost certainly a bad starter/solenoid sticking. If you hear the click sound hit the solenoid(NOT the electrical connection!!) on the starter several times with a hammer. If it starts you definitely need a starter. This trick will only work for a few days - so replace that starter.(disconnect battery before replacing it !)

Could be a T C S sensor that needs replacement.
