The first thing is to check the pvc system, make sure hoses are good and not leaking, also is there a check engine light on? if so then you will need to have the codes scanned to see what they are.

Toyota Corolla 2 Litre diesel. Why loss of power at low revs when warm?

Sounds like piston blow by, as the gap increases and diesels have such high compression. When the turbo kicks in, the pressure is restored.

No hot air blowing through the vents on a 1998 ford contour 2.4l can anybody tell me why?

Hi again Joe

How come your Ford Contour has changed from a 2.0 litre to a 2.4 overnight?

Now you have heat in the heater core housing. That is hot enough to blow warm air. Is the fan working okay? The only thing left if that pesky electronic heater valve. At least with your newly found 2.4 litre engine, there are more spares available for that model.

Good luck with it. I think I'm out on this one now.

I just purchased a 2016 Mazda 3 Touring. I was informed that I would get a combined fuel of 5.7litre to 100 kms and also the tank is 51 litre. . Only got 390 kms to empty took only 40.5 litres! 10 l

the fuel consumption figure is what mazda get in a factory controlled test operation and is only an indication of what can be expected with careful driving
they have no control over driving habits or traffic conditions and drive speeds as the variation is too great to even talk about
by the calculations you are getting 5.6 liters per 100 klms so where is the problem
to get exact figures for your driving habits
you go from tank full to tank full and divide that into the figure set on the trip meter when filled the first tank, not what you have calcuated

I have an eighty series lancruiser with a 3fe 4 litre motor in the past i have problems with the relay heating up and blowing the fuse , and have had the fuel pump replaced twice by mechanics but need

Check that the fuel pressure is the proper fuel pressure for the car some have low pressure systems and some have high pressure systems. if you put a low pressure pump on a high pressure system the pump will overheat and blow the fuse because it cant keep up.

Camry 3 litre v6 engine: Coolant in radiator bubbling profusely.

If there is no white smoke billowing out of the tailpipe, I would not remove the heads. If you had bad heads or head gaskets, there would be a whole lot of white smoke pouring out of the tailpipe. Coolant bubbling into the overflow indicates poor coolant circulation...You may just have a seized thermostat, partially clogged radiator or malfunction cooling fans. Try removing the thermostat and running it. If the bubbling stops, you do not have a cylinder head issue.
