2000 toyota tundra #5 cylinder misfire

Truck is running pretty rough and check engine light is on. Blinks for about 100 times after i start acclerating then stays on, then blinks after a little bit. had it checked, said cylinder #6 misfire. replaced spark plugs and still same. so i took the coil from 6 and put it on 2 ( to the best of my knowledge, i am not sure exactly which cylinder is which - cant find a diagram anywhere) got it checked again and said cylinder 5 misfire now! replaced the coil i moved but still runs rough and says #5 misfire. not sure what to do next. any thoughts?

    accelerate to 50 mph and let up on the gas, the truck start to vibrate. pushing on the gas pedal, it feels like it's going to stall and vibration gets worst. help

    same issue. #3 cyl. is missing. the miss is so hard that its running terrible, especially under even a minor load. diagnostics shows 12-23 misfires per second. swapped coils, but problem stays with the cyl. - will install new plugs as first option. will also run a can of BG44K injector cleaner. if that doesnt do it, will likely either replace the injector or go to the dealer.

    PS: #8 cyl. showed 200,000 misses then the meter clears to zero. go figure.

    I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra started running rough. Gave it a tune-up, changed plugs, etc. didn't help. Check engine light on, had it put on a diagnostics, came back it was misfiring on 1, 4, and 5 cyl. Any suggestions?

    The engine has 380,000 miles and timing belt replaced at 270,000 miles. Has always run smoothly until this problem

Miss fire #6 cyl 2000 dodge 3500 van 5.9 egine

100 PSI is way to low, I think you have a burnt valve. Check the cylinder compression on all cylinders, no cylinder should be 5% lower than the highest cylinder pressure measured or the engine will run rough or misfire.

Causes of p0300, p0302, p0304, p0306 in 2000 toyota avalon

P0300 = Random/multiple cylinder(s) - misfire detected.
P0302 = Cylinder 2 - misfire detected.
P0304 = Cylinder 4 - misfire detected.
P0306 = Cylinder 6 - misfire detected.

A misfire can be caused by a few things. The most common causes are usually spark supply or fuel supply. Get BOTH of these checked.
All the misfires are on the same side of the engine so I would suspect a fuel rail or an injector issue on that side of the engine.

2008 Toyota Tundra engine light on, vsc off, 4lo, slip indicator lights came on - what is the problem?

I currently have the same issue on my 2008 Tundra. I have noticed that one of the 12v acces plugs don't work. The problem is intermittent and started when the air was damp or after it rained. Now the same lights are on, the 12v doesn't work and the remote door locks don't work. Toyota want to run a diagnostic check at $125 an hour. Did you solve your problem?

2002 Toyota Tundra runs rough (shakes) when first starts up within a mile or two, runs fine. Check-Engine code says misfire 3 and 4. 144,000 miles

It certainly will be cheaper to pay a professional to test the problem for and hundred bucks or so, than it would be to replace parts that may not be needed and or damage other components while driving it until you fix it, and if your not driving it, the cost of a rental car. the problem you have can be any of the following, and until everything is tested it's a wild guess to determine what's wrong.
Coil, plugs, injectors, timing belt, control module, compression/head gasket, coil to plug boot, wires, vacuum leak, etc.

DO A LITTLE TUNE UP.CHANGE SPARK PLUGS.CHANGE FUEL FILTER.CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS.FILL FUEL TANK UP.AND ADD A BOTTLE OF FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER IN FUEL TANK.WHEN YOU DRIVE CAR AROUND.THE INJECTOR CLEANER WILL CLEAN OUT FUEL INJECTORS.IF CAR STILL RUN ROUGH IN DRIVE.YOU COULD HAVE INTAKE LEAK.

VSC OFF, Check engine and traction control lights are on

I would suggest having your mechanic scan the computer for viable trouble codes. WIthout that information, it is hard to determine the exact cause of your problem.

However, my experiences with the Tundra leads me to suggest that you have a bad Mass Air Flow Sensor...A concise scan and any codes would alow us to really help you out a lot better.

Misfiring

See what cylinder is loosing (if that's it) spark. Use a spark tester if you can, or remove plugs and turn it over with the wires on all of the plugs, grounded!
