The cruise is computer controlled so you need to check the system with a scan tool next for fault codes.

Chesk vacumn valve with three ports on it, looks kind of like a fishing cork. It will be close to the fire wall.

My cruise control does not work on 1994 Ford 150. Fuse is fine, where to look next? Thank you

Which fuse ? There are two that supply B+ to the speed control servo ! One is located in the under hood fuse box and the other in the fuse panel inside the vehicle > The fuse may look fine but is there B+ voltage across the fuse . Check it with a volt meter . Check B+ voltage at the speed control servo , Black with yellow trace and P/O wire , what ever color that is . Is there B+ at the control switch ? The speed control servo supply's voltage to the cruise control switch . You can check it at the speed control servo as well . They could be videos on youtube showing how to test it .

Where is fuse for cruise control?

Fuse #19 (15 amp) controls the cruise control. It also powers the horn so check your horn. If it works then check the cruise controls ground. If the fuse is good BUT the horn still doesn't work, then check the horn relay, as it also powers the cruise control. Check all wires/connections going to these parts also.

Brake lights, cruise control and horn all stopped working at the same time. i also just got my alternator replaced. can anyone possibly help me, or have had the same problem?

The brake switch and brake lights as well as the horn are supplied voltage thru the 15 amp STOP fuse located in the underhood fuse/relay box. No fuse is listed for the cruise control system but the signal for the brake lights is supplied to the PCM. If it is not getting a valid signal from brake switches then it may well disable operation of the cruise control system due to insufficient information and safety. Check that fuse first off. In the center section of the underhood fuse box is a column of six fuses. Top of column wil be brown 7.5A fuse, next down will be yellow 10A fuse, next will be blue 15A fuse (this is the one you are looking at), next down will be either blue or yellow, next is brown and last is blue.

CRUISE CONTROL WON'T WORK ON 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER

check cruise control fuse and check the brake lights see if brake light working because the brake light switch will deactivate cruise control when brakes is applied.if brake lights dont work either fuse blowed or switch bad.if all is good have vechicle code scan because cruise control control by PCM and vechicle speed sensor and thottle actuator control motor.

The cruise control on my 2001 just quit working i have checked the fuses and all are ok while driving i can engage the criuse control and the cruise light comes on for an instant almost like a flash any...

A vehicle speed sensor provides a signal for the cruise control and also for the ABS braking and the overdrive function. I would start with finding the fuse for the cruise control in your owners manual. Also some cruise controls have vacuum lines attached, if so, check for cracked or broken vacuum lines. Good luck.

My cruise control stoped working in my 2003 mitsubishi montero sport how can i fix it ? is it a fuse?

check the fuse to make sure the system has power.
next check the cable connected to the motor that pulls the throttle
out or releases in depending on how fast the cruise control wants you to go.

I've had 2 cars that recently had cable problems. The first was a 1999 Ford Expedition with a broken cable.
The second, was a 1997 Cadillac Deville that had a broken cable.

no cable means no actuation to keep the speed up of the car after depressing the cruise button.

Good luck on this one.

03 chevy z71 cruise contol problem

There are a few things you can try. First, check your
brake lights, if they do not work the problem may be
in the stoplight sw circuit. Also there are 3 fuses you
can check, 1 is a 25amp in the fuse block under the
hood the next 2 are in the fuse block under the dash.
One is the 15amp stoplight fuse and the other is a
10amp turn sig fuse. These fuses are either directly
or indirectly related to the cruise ctrl. Next check the
cruise switchs accel/coast set/resume if either sw.
was sticking in any posistion for 90 seconds or more,
the cruise ctrl. will shut down. There are trouble codes that will set but they won't trip the check engine light. You'll need an obdII scanner to recover
them from the memory. If you don't have one, go to
autozone/napa or advance auto parts they will scan it
free. The codes of interest are po571 stoplight switch
po567 and po568 the cruise ctrl switch's. And any
other codes related to the torque converter clutch -
the speed sensor - throttle actuator control.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
