I would first check you fuel pump relay. Also check the ground wire near you gas tank. Hope that will help

The fuel system before the fuel pump should be checked to verify that there is no clogging of fue lines. There might be a possibility that the fuel tank could have corroded deposits, so when the fuel pump sucks fuel from the tank, these debris are collected into the fuel system which can cause blockages, so in reality the pump itself mite not be the problem. Also is there anyway that you can verify that the fuel pressure is of desired value (psi)?

There is no need to bleed the fuel system. Do you want to drain the old gas? You can just disconnect the fuel line at the engine or if front of the tank and jump the pump relay socket to power up the pump.

your first mistake was going to autodummie for your parts. cause they wont give your money back on electric parts and more than likely its your fuel filter.

Chevy Trucks, Blazers, S10 pickup and the like will vapor lock ecspecially the 2000 models. Do not tighten the gas cap past 1 click. There is a tube that runs from the top of the tank down and this gets hot and collapses or burns in half. We just bought a reinforced rubber tube cut it to lengh and use it instead of part and it's worked grat for 2 years so far.
