Renault espace (authentique) 2002. 2 litre - power steering

The car will start fine but the power steering has stopped working. it is really difficult to try and turn the steering wheel at all, plus the battery light is illuminated on the dash board. this has never happened before. could it be steering fluid or something major? can anyone help me?

Could be fluid but just check that none of the belts have snaped

How do i get to the water bottle on my espace as i think it has cracked

With great difficulty to be honest ,try changing the starter motor just for fun
now the water bottle is behind the front bumper so take out the inner plastic wheel arch ,try doing anything to a renault modus even giving a jump start will make the power steering motor lose its memory and then its a 600euro job to get it sorted and renault garage will insist on a new one then programming adding up to well over a 1000euros .My favourite make of vehicle a renault ? i think not come back the ford cortina or a humber hawk

Renault Espace 2.0ltr 2002 authentique............Central locking button on key does not work,i can only gain entry with the key on passenger side as there is no key hole on drivers side..I have an after...

sorry mate its a renault need i say more ,only way with a renault is to go cap in hand to the dealer and plead poverty,renault started using encrypted software a lot earlier than others so it possible this is the first ,when the OBDII connector became the europeon norm in 2005 a lot of vehicles started using encrypted software and copyrighted pin layouts so the handheld thingys are waste of money to buy ,who needs a code reader when the software is encrypted and cannot be read ,plug one of these into the latest cars and the immobilisor cuts in ,when taken to dealer it shows as unauthorised access on the dealers reader and i know a few dealer fitters who note this put it on the job sheet so the owner gets charged extra and told that the computer was damaged by the boy racer code reader and they get charged about a 1000euros for a new computer .right rip off if you ask me ,come back the morris minor or ford anglia

Renault espace 02 reg diesel 2.2 heater fans not working control switch working

tipical espace, it wont work or only works on full speed is usually the problems. its the heater resistor, usually a thermal fuse goes on it which can be brought from maplins for 95p.
