Need to know location of turn signal flasher on 2001 mitsubishi eclipse gs

If it is the flasher module you are looking for it is found on the underside left hand part of dash! What is the problem? The Kia models had a recall for the flasher switch being faulty! This was on 1998 models but I have heard similar problems on 2001/2002 models!

I dont't know specifically per vehicle but most are position on the body/frame within a foot of the tank itself. Look up and image on line and then pop under your car and take a look.

The turn signal and hazard flasher unit is located in the multi-purpose fuse panel located under the driver's left side knee protector. They are replaced by simply pulling them straight out. Note that the prongs are arranged in such a way that the flasher must be properly oriented before attempting to install it. Turn the flasher until the orientation of the prongs is correct and simply push it firmly in until the prongs are fully engaged.

The turn signal flasher unit in the Mitsubishi Eclipse should be located behind the air conditioning and heater control panel in the center console. Hope this helps you and best wishes.

turn on the emergency flashers follow the clicking noise and that is where you will find it is the same relay for the right and left

under the hood passenger side located near the front

You May need to replace the turn signal Switch/lever assembly on your car , do the turn signals work at all ? if they don't try the 4 way flasher , if the 4 way flasher's work suspect the turn signal switch .

Start by checking the fuses then move to the light bulbs. If those are ok check the flasher switch and then the turn signal switch. More than likely you will need to replace the flasher switch.
