The body control module (BCM) seems to be the source of all this weirdness. I can't say with certainty that the BCM is responsible but it should be checked out

The wires that go into the doors has probably broken from opening and closing the doors. They run though a rubber boot where the hinges are. Check all the doors wires. This is a common problem and i have fix many jeeps with these problems.

SOURCE: Power door locks and windows dont work, interior

Had the same issue - as gche37 noted the black ground wire is normally the issue.

Pull the boot back on the wire bundle in the door and you will probably see the broken wire. I then spliced a wire to the one running into the door. I pulled the black wire into the car, spliced to that and it worked (works) fine. Took about 15 minutes. I splices with a 12 ga braided wire

Power windows and door locks not working

replace the fuse,,, try operating the passenger window from the switch on the passenger door.. see if the fuse fails again...the rain wouldn't normally be a problem, these are designed to operate in wet conditions unless the thing was literally water logged.

2000 jeep cherokee sport fuse diagram

Likely you are looking for a 30 amp circuit breaker...(Looks like a small rectangular metal fuse) But...if the power door locks work, i don't think that it's bad (serves locks & windows) My diagrams show a bunch of diodes and resistors inside the master (drivers) door switch, but I've had a few apart and never saw any. (embedded?) Personally I don't see anything that shows me reliability built into the switch...It's a really "iffy" design (one in my niece's Jeep only works when the sun shines on the drivers door) There is also a control module associated with the windows but I've never needed to replace one and the manuals never tell you where they are!
Check power at the switch and check harness where it goes through the rubber boot between the door and body. at least 80% of problems I've seen are either the switch or that wiring. Wires can be spliced and you can get a decent used switch at most scrap yards.
Good luck...glad they aren't stuck down!!!

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Electrical Problems

Sounds like the ECM....the computer that controls all the electrical functions on the car is having some major issues or needs to be replaced. A auto repair or auto parts store should have a diagnostic machine that will tell you for sure or you can purchase one for between $50 and $150

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the door lock, window controls and power mirrors dont work on the drivers side. The lock button works on the passenger side though, but nonw of the windows work. Can...

Sounds like the driver door module. First try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then try it. The door module controls all of those things you are describing.
