Where is the 4 wheel drive fuse in 2003 serria?

Last year my 4 wheel drive went out and a mechanic and is no longer around, pulled the fuse and put it back in and it has worked for a year. Where is this fuse located so i can do it or replace it?

They are not labeled, any idea what number it is? The manual don't say anything of help.

It was not the fuse this time, so now what? Any idea?

they are like just dead, no contact, no lights flashing, nothing.

Someone said something about some switch or wireing harness under the truck but they didn't really know what they were talking about. And other ideas? We just got a foot of snow!

It should be in the dash where the drivers door meets the dash behind a pannel with description on back

try the second row from the top middle fuse it is a blue 15 amp. If you know how to check with test light that might be the easiest. Good Luck

The Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) in this model year have been known to hang up, try pulling fuse #48 (4WD) in the rear fuse panel located under the left rear seat. Reinstall fuse and see if everything works OK, if not, you probably need to replace the TCCM.

Electrical Problem - dead battery

Sounds to me like you may need a new rectifier put in the alternator,a shorted diode in the alternator could be powering up things that should go dead with the key in the off position. To prove this, instead of pulling the fuse, take the plug out of the alternator and if all is well, you have your answer.
