Is there a chance that moisture is getting to the rear light and breaking the connection? Try a bit of electrical contact jell on the base of the bulb and on the contacts for the bulb holder to see if that does not fix it.

Did you replace the bulb in the passenger side running light/turn signal socket? There are two filaments in that bulb, one for the running light (which you indicate works) and one for the turn signal. If that bulb (filament) is burned out, it will make the turn signal flash faster. I don't know why you were swapping headlights, don't know where the fire box under the hood is, and don't know what a jumper sore is, so can't help you any further. I have a Saturn Ion, and have never found a fire box or jumper sore in it.
Some lights won't let you replace the bulb. You will probably have to replace the bulb and the casing. Take the entire casing to your nearest auto store and they should have what you need
If there are no burn marks on the housing then use as much force by hand to turn the entire black knurled assembly counter clockwise, you may already be at the point you have to be. Now try wiggling it back forth and pulling straight back at the same time. I'm assuming you've removed the housing from the body. If not there is a small gray latch that just pushes back and the whole assy. comes out very easily. When replacing the bulb put a little dab of vaseline on the metal area of the bulb before inserting it.
You might find a plastic toggle lever in the edge of the door. Your car may have a childproof lock for the front passenger door like the rear doors do. If so, it is a simple matter of moving the toggle.
this issue appears many times because the wrong wattage bulb was used. the system measures the amperage flow to the individual bulb. if it falls outside the factory range ,, the indicator light will come on. I had a 1990 volvo myself. had a terrible time keeping good tail lights in that ****** but ABSOLUTELY loved that car. loved it so much I bought another (1998) model. it just wasnt the same driving experience as the 90 model though.
hope this helps...
have someone turn on the turn signal then someone check to see if there is power at the bulb socket in the front and rear of vehicle. if there is not check the flasher, if thats not it then check the wiring. you should also call the dealer and ask it may be a common mistake in thier wiring harness.
dont replace the switch make sure you have the correct bulb installed correctly first. might save you another headache i take it the other blinkers work than you have a good relay good luck
My passenger door lock does not lock when when manualy trying to lock it with the key and also when trying to lock it with the lock button on the door, is there a solution to this?
