I too have keyless start and entry. I had a problem where I could unlock my car keyless but couldn't start it. In my car your foot needs to be on the brake pedal. If that is no the problem I would try changing the battery becaus some cars need a strong signal to start. If all fails and your key has a pop out metal key I would insert that to start the car and if that fails then that says your ignition circuit is having a problem and a full diagnostic on the electrical must be run

Disarming an Armed System/Silencing an Alarm
If system arming has been requested by the keyless entry transmitter, it must be disarmed.
Important: Using the power door unlock switch or manually unlocking the doors does not disable the CTD armed mode. Also, disconnecting the battery or pulling fuses does not disable the armed mode, since the BCM stores the CTD mode status in memory.

Insert a valid key into the ignition and start the vehicle.

Can a remote start be installed in a car with NO KEYLESS ENTRY? no alarm system...just a key to open doors

Yes. After market remote start kits don't care about keyless entry or alarm systems. You will get a separate key fob to operate the remote starter.

In my 06' suzuki forenza is there a chip in my key?

If the keys you got are basic Suzuki keys, then NO, you don't have keyless entry. The Forenza/Reno remote is built into the key itself, so you'd know right away if you had it or not.
certain trim packages came with Keyless and some didn't.
Suzuki doesn't filter their catalog by VIN as other makes do so a VIN won't help. If not keyless you'll need the module.

2008 altima When I place my key in the ignition(keyless entry) a warning shows "no key". I have changed the battery and it still says "no key" please give me an estimate of what you think it is and if it...

Lock your car with the keyless entry.Push it twice. Then walk over to passenger side and un lock with key. Then put key in ignition and start the car..If that dont work lock the doors again with the keyless entry.Push lock twice and then push the unlock twice..that should start your car,Repost if you have no luck to consider different stratigies.
