I have a2001 plymouth neon that will not idle. The error codes are P1192 P1193 and P0508 what are they? How do I fix them? Where do I get the parts? I NEED MY CAR BACK

Your vehicle does not have a IAC valve ! Your vehicle has electronic throttle control . P0351 probably a wiring issue or open driver inside the PCM for cylinder # one . Your best bet take it to the dealer , you have not the knowledge or tools to diagnose this problem ! You are obviously using some cheap code reader to pull codes with or you wouldn't come up with P0508 . Factory service info. does not show Po508 for that vehicle. Plus working for ford i know for a fact this vehicle does not have IAC . If the driver inside the PCM is bad it will need to go to dealer anyway for programming .

Check wiring and plug that goes into valve. Valve can be replaced.

P1193 is an intake air temp code, there is a sensor somewhere within the filter box or the intake tube (large rubber tube running to the intake) with a plug that normally has two wires. You can remove the sensor and clean it (this will sometimes fix the problem) or replace it. You should reset the codes to verify the fix.

The fault code P1193 means EGR Drive Overcurrent. fix this problem, the car will start again.

Inlet air temperature sensor needs replacement.

I had a similar problem all it was a the rubber boot after the sensor was sightly disconnected and produced the same code. I would even take it as far if there is a decent rip in the boot would also cause the problem.
