it sounds like your still not getting all the air out of your lines. it helps to have a brake bleeder but they are expensive, it also could be that the gasket inside the master cylinder is inverted even if it is a new master cylinder this could be the case, ive had four bad remanned ones in a row, before i got a good one... hope i could help

Yes master cylinder and maybe ABS sending unit. Also is there a sound of an air leak it may also be your brake booster

you must have air trapped in the system still, dont drive this car until this problem is fixed, please, for safety reasons. if you dont know how to bleed the brakes have a professional do the work. the fluid might have been contaminated and should be totally reserviced, DOT 3 fluid or better.

I just went to Brake Masters this morning and had them replace the Master Cylinder since I was experiencing the pedal very spongy and going to the floor. When they replaced the Master Cylinder and they gave me back the car, the brakes were still spongy and going to the floor. I addressed this to them and they took another look at it, but when I took it for a second time, the brakes were extremely spongy. It was almost like they gave me back my car in worst condition to when I brought it in. Can you help?

Check rear wheel cylinders for leaks. Did you bench bleed the master cylinder?
