Both input and output speed sensor are located on the left side of the transaxle case. do not interchange input and the output sensor.

I WOULD TRY REPLACING THE INPUT SPEED SENSOR..A DEFECTIVE SPEED SENSOR CAN CAUSE ALL OF THESE FAULTS..IT IS LOCATED IN FRONT OF TRANS ABOVE SOLENOID PACK..IT IS THE ONE CLOSEST TO THE ENGINE..IT SCREWS INTO TO TRANSMISSION..A 1 INCH SOCKET FITS IT..ALSO CHECK WIRING TO BOTH SPEED SENSORS..A SENSOR IS ABOUT 35 BUCKS,AVAILABLE AT YOUR LOCAL DODGE DEALER..GET A NEW ONE AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE..FAIRLY COMMON PROBLEM..HAVE REPLACED LOTS OF THEM

SOURCE: transmission input speed sensor location

It is located on the front of the transmission. you will see 2 of them one on the left under small transmission lines it is the input then to the right behind the radiator overflow there is the other one. Easiest way to change them is with a 1" deep well socket

SOURCE: location of speed sensor a for 99 dodge intrepid

The "Vehicle Speed Sensor" signal is generated by the transmisson output speed sensor. That is the one located at the rear of the case. It is externally mounted. That supplies "vehicle speed" info to the other On-Board Computers. The input turbine speed sensor is located just behind the bell housing area of the case. I believe the trans controller is the only module that needs that info. The Crank Position Sensor give engine RPM info and it is located on the bell housing near the engine block. I hope this helps.

Where is the turbine shaft speed sensor circuit A.

On the 2007 Nissan Frontier with an automatic transmission, the Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) sensor circuit A is located on the transmission itself. The TSS sensor is mounted on the outside of the transmission case and is located near the input shaft. To access the TSS sensor, you will need to locate the sensor on the transmission and disconnect the electrical connector. The TSS sensor has two wires, which are typically colored yellow and black. You can test the TSS sensor using a multimeter to check for proper resistance and continuity. It is important to note that the TSS sensor is a critical component of the transmission system, and a malfunctioning TSS sensor can cause issues such as improper shifting, harsh shifting, or the transmission going into "limp" mode. If you suspect that your TSS sensor is faulty, it is recommended to have it diagnosed and repaired by a qualified mechanic.

Where is the turbine/input shaft speed sensor located on a 98' Ford explorer sport 6cyl shod 2wd?

Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) Sensor
The turbine shaft speed (TSS) sensor is a magnetic pickup that sends the powertrain control module (PCM) torque converter turbine speed information.
The TSS sensor is mounted internally on the center support.
The PCM uses TSS information to help determine electronic pressure control (EPC) and torque converter clutch (TCC) operation.
You have to remove and disassemble the transmission down to the center support to access.

Po715

I do not believe so . Code p0715 if that relates to your question refers to the turbine shaft speed(TSS) sensor-circuit malfunction===causes wiring--TSS sensor--ECM/TCM
The drive speed sensor is the sensor that works the speedo and sends impulses to the transmission control module to change gears in relation to the turbine speed sensor
This is how the TCM knows when to change ratios in the transmission because of the differences in recorded speeds of the engine torque convertor and the drive shaft

Now i dont know a lot about automatics especially modern ones with all this fancy electronics thats used nowdays but i think its a fault with the temperature sensor for the gearbox. But where its located and what it looks like i have no idea it could even be mounted inside the gearbox .Sorry not a very good answer from a mechanic but?? very few of our europeon cars come with auto transmission .Evan when i do know whats wrong i cannot buy the parts for the gearbox as only re-con boxes supplied by the dealer so best advice is to try a specialist in auto box repairs only .PS some of my best students when i used to teach mechanics many moons ago were the girls so no excuses like iam only a girl please
