Hook a charger up to the battery cables and then remove them, the code will not be lost. Any small charger will do.

1 Loosen and remove negative connector from battery. 2 Grip a 10mm tubular spanner / socket tightly in a set of mole grips 3 lever up the part of the connector, that projects out to the right. force in a 10mm tube spanner / socket preferably on an a hex extension (small kits usually have these in them). You may need some form of small pry bar for this. 4 slowly and carefully use the grips / socket tool above to loosen the nut fastening the connector cable array to the battery 5 lever the assembly off the battery and twist away from battery. (This is awkward and contrived). 6 when in a position you can access the nut, continue to loose and remove both nut and washer. KEEP SAFE! 7 Remove socket from mole grips 8 grip square head of bolt on battery connector, you have just removed from battery. 9 Re-insert from other side and loosely fasten removed nut/washer 10 remove battery securing plate with extension bar and socket 13mm or 1/2" 11 remove old battery 12 replace with new one and tighten and connectors and securing plates.

SOURCE: Am i putting code in radio right

Are you sure it is a Nissan audio system. Nissan does not use codes in their radios. You must have an aftermarket radio.

SOURCE: cd code

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.
(There are usually two barcodes on one label. The one required is the lower one )

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service

Trying to replace a radio in an Nissan Almera n16 (2003), I Is it possible to replace this radio, or because the dash radio/Air-con is all the one?

Look at the bezel around the radio. It just pops off. If it goes up around the instrument panel, look for screws around there. Under the bezel, there will be screws to remove.

Hi there please can you help me as I got a new car but the radio is not working as it needs a code.. The car is a nissan almera and The radio is a SY712 please can you assist me with a code thanx

Hi Jan, The codes are anti theft devices and are unique to each vehicle. If it is not recorded in the user manual (maybe a separate manual for the radio) ask your dealer for it. Regards and happy new year John
