SOURCE: starter for dodge caravan 2000

DISCONNECT THE BATTERY, JACK UP AND SUPPORT YOUR CARAVAN. LYING ON YOUR BACK LOCATE THE STARTER WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THE ENGINE THROUGH THE BELL HOUSING .THERE ARE TWO 15 MILIMETER BOLTS THAT HOLDS THE STARTER ON . AFTER BREAKING THE BOLTS A 15MM WRENCH WOULD BE USEFUL.

SOURCE: 2000 Dodge Caravan air conditioner problems

heating and cooling fans are generally one and the same. changing freon doesn't always fix the problem... did you have the system pressure checked for leaks first.

Second determine if the vents are opening properly (switching from heat to cooling) basically when you change to cool it closes air access to the heater core.

SOURCE: replace broken fuel door 2000 dodge caravan

If you're on the smallish side and pretty limber, you might avoid removing the rear wheel. If not, you will likely need to remove the rear wheel and put the van on jack stands securely. I would remove the underside splash shield and gain access from underneath. It looks like you will need to unscrew the plastic insert that surrounds the filler neck inside the area that is exposed when you open the fuel door. Make sure you get the vent hooked up correctly when you are done.

SOURCE: HOW TO REMOVE 2000 DODGE CARAVAN REAR SEAT

There are 2 handles on the back of the seat where it attaches to the floor. If you hold the button on the handle and push it down it should release the seat from the floor. After this it just rolls out the back. Same for the middle seat if you need to remove it.

1997 Caravan SE 3.3l auto trans. How to remove the transaxle output shaft seal. I have both axles removed, but can't see a way to pull the seal out. Do i need a special tool?

They make a tool to pull it out but not necessary. If the seal has an outer lip, simply get a sharp flat punch and hammer inward until the seal gets loose. If no lip then get a screw #8 or #6 approximate size. Carefully drill a hole in the metal part of the seal just smaller the the center shaft of the screw, until just thru the metal. Insert the screw so it bits a couple of threads no more. Get a hold using vise grips or pliers. Pull and bend inward at the same time it will come out.

Need to find rebuild instructions for a 1997 dodge auto transmiss

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!
This is about as close as you can get to brain surgery on a car! Your cost would be close to $2000! The chance it would even move is about 5%! At best!

The speedometer is not working and the trans. seems like it's not going into 2nd

computer diagnostic will give you codes to repair vehicle better but sounds like you need to replace Vehicle Speed Sensor (Output Speed Sensor) On a 31TH TRANS sensor located near the transaxle extension housing, on the 41TE trans located between the module and the park/neutral switch (black)
