How to open the trunk on chevy caprice 1996

Your latch may be broken go though the trunk though the back seat. Check to see if the latch is broken; or stuck. There is a little hole where all you have to do is use a screwdriver turn clockwise if trunk opens then your latch is either broken or your locking mechanism is stuck. Are you trying to instll he cruse system in another car? BAD IDEA Are you trying to fix it in your car? first cause of fail is the third stop ligh blow
