Engine oil sensor switch on a voyager 3.3 litre location

HUNT NUMBER, 10,012.
the ECT sensor it is, and the location is gen4 location, only, for years stated below. only my most !


2002 actual
3.3l ONLY (gen4) 2001 to 2007 are the same why.(location)
ECT SPOT?

I say the new thermostat ( not one lasted 22 year ever) is new and is the 200F stamped KIND then
OBD2 PID scans show 200f hot or up to 220f until fans kick-in
on the other hand if the PID scans of ECT show it varies like mad engine normal hot then there is AIR stuck there.
someone did not burp out all the air and no ECT made works stuck in any AIR pocket.
if all that is good and ECT reads wrong then sure ECT is bad.

The exact model of car dictates what need to be removed, to get to TOP rear of intake lower manifold.
rear means closet to the transmission. in this case facing engine right end. is it. FWD car.

THE FIRST SMALL IMAGE IS A CUT AWAY IMAGE, REAR INTAKE MANIFOLD.

I would try crank sensor located I think towards rear of engine on bell housing right near flywheel

3.0 3.3 and 3.8 liter engines look down on the back side of the engine on the firewall side. It will be under the crossover exhaust pipe and bolted to the transmission. It will have three wires going to it.

4.0L - Location of Oil Pressure Switch - Rh side of Engine block above starter, 3 wire connector

4.7L - Location of Oil Pressure Switch - RH side of motor next to oil filter, 3 wire connector

Ok 3 questions to answer:

1 yes the pump could be bad, but it is not likely.
2 yes it is in the oil pan.
3 yes you can change it without pulling the engine, though it is not easy.

Most common problem for your oil pressure reading to be going away, is the oil pressure sending unit(sensor) it is located next to the oil filter, check and replace if neccessary this sensor first and see if your oil pressure returns to normal. If not then you may have a pump problem. Hope this helps, let me know.

2.9L and 4.0L engines-Left side front of the engine, below the cylinder head in the engine block

Oil pressure sensor. sensor seal is bad. Replace the sensor.

Guessing it's a 6 cyl, 3.0L, but should be located on transaxle housing above vehicle speed sensor.

On the 2.4L engine, the oil pressure switch is located on the side of the engine block facing the firewall. On the 3.3L and 3.8L engines, the oil pressure switch is located next to the oil filter.

There is a manufacturer's 'body code plate' located on the radiator closure panel crossmember in the engine compartment. There are 3 lines of code #'s and letters, the MIDDLE line is paint info. !st 3 digits are 'paint procedure', then 4 digits for 'primary paint' then 4 digits for 'secondary paint', then 'trim' and finally 'engine', all on the middle line.
