My a/c compressor is hotwired to a fuse. I want to know how to fix this issue.

since your bypassing all security and ignition systems the pcm / ecu are not giving the truck correct information to trans like your in limp mode would have been cheaper and easier to have gone to dealer or authorized locksmith and have had key cut using vin would been less than $30 that is why dont hotwire vehicles causes more damage and you still have to repair it at a higher cost for vehicle to run correctly

Ac refrigerant is most likely low causing this, would need more info to tell u exactly. Other possible causes could be pressure switch, ac heat control unit, low refrigerant, bad compressor, wiring problem, if refrigerant is full would need to make sure your getting power and ground to compressor.

When this happens, there are quite a few things that could be the issue, so I would recommend that you check the simplest thing first. Start out by opening the fuse panel and locate the A/C fuse and the FAN/BLOWER fuse (these are separate fuses) make sure that the fuse is in working order, replace with same AMP fuse that is removed. Next I would recommend that you visually inspect the A/C compressor and make sure that the electrical connections are clean and connected, and that the belt is on the compressor and that the compressor pulley is rotating when the engine is running. If that is not the issue, I recommend that you have the A/C refrigerant checked to see if the level is at the operational level. If that is not the issue, there may be an issue with the clutch on the A/C compressor, or even an issue with the A/C switch in the vehicle located on the climate control panel.

check compressor clutch wireing if ok unlug and replace fuse if it stays good
check clutch for shorted coil

The airbag system does not have a compressor. The only compressors on your vehicle will be for the air-conditioner and the air suspension system. Then, what, exactly do you want to know? Which fuses protect the circuits for whatever compressor you are having trouble with?

Simply replacing a blown fuse is NOT going to fix whatever problem you are trying to fix unless you diagnose and repair the reason the fuse blew.

yes, but your ac system contains switches, one low preasure switch to shut compressor down when freon is low, this is to avoid compressor damage,if low on freon the compressor will not turn on. the first thing to do is make sure the feron is full, you will need a teck to do this, i dont think you should atempt this, its high preasure you may cant hurt or damage your system if not done right.

there must be a faulty wiring in your airconditioning system, try to see an aircon technician for trouble shooting

have u tested the ac compressor cycling switch located in the low side line from the compressor? also a common failure is the AC compressor cycling relay also known as the WOT (wide open throttle) relay Jumper a wire across the AC cycling switch in the low side line, if the compressor runs replace the switch, if not then replace the relay which in in the power distribution box under the hood.

look for the a/c acumulator and by pass the switch on the side of it unplug it and by passed with a little wire then turn a/c on if the compressor goes on turn everithing off and have the system recharge but if you want it to last then have it also test for any leaks of refrigerant before refilling

and if does not come on then there is a burnt fuse or a electrical problem
