Auto start will start car then turn car off 3 or 4 sec later.

factory installed remote ENGINE start option.??
my 2005 to 2010 service manual shows no such device.

so, does car start, key in ignition? that be like first.!!

if yes, then next is to look at the cluster for evics display errors.
better is to scan to pcm and see why,
if the magic is broken, scan it, or get it scanned.
on factory cars the remote start is very strict,
and it will tell you why it fails.
is that Another key , real, came with and worked before.
the keys must be married to the PCM./BCM for them to work.
scan it

find the guy who installed it and get them to make it work.
we cant guess what is installed in your car
find a live human that can look and see that, see first if
it is factory kit or aftermarket
they do not work the same, so.......

you can try resetting it by disconnecting battery ,wait 30 sec then reconnect two things make sure you have drivers side window all the way down and the keys in your hand it may set off auto locks (I have seen it happen)once you reconnect battery alarm will go off and lights will flash at this point put key in drivers side door and turn it to open close 3 times with out opening door that should do it.

Remove the aftermarket alarm. They plague factory electronics anyways.

body control module needs tested

it's in your auto start system. mine does the same thing. after it sets fot 5 mins. it starts. if it is a factory installed auto-start, have dealer check. if it was installed by someone else, theirs a problem with installation or wired wrong.

Check fuel pressure, check timing and check plugs and cap & rotor

Your fuel filter could be plugged so only small amounts 2 seconds worth get through if ti been 3 - 5 year since it was changed now would be good.

Try resetting the asd "auto shut down fuse had a similar problem the jeep would crank but did not get spark or gas also check your fuel pump? and the asd relay may be bad it will prevent the jeep from getting no spark and will not fire some jeeps have security problems

pull the battery terminals off the battery and hold the pos and neg cables together for 3-5 min. this should reset the cars computer and alarm
provided it is factory alarm...
